- 5 Different Ways to Learn to Dive!
Group Class for the General Public: $259
This is our most popular, affordable and social option. Class sizes range from 6-10 students. Most classes meet once a week for 6 sessions. Each session is split between classroom lectures and pool practice. Our instructors will cover important subjects such as environment, equipment, physiology, etc. during lectures. The remainder of the class is spent in the pool learning to use scuba equipment. Because water work is preformed as a group, any missed sessions must be made up.
Open Water Training dives are done at the end of the class/pool work. For two days, you will practice diving in a "real environment" like Gull Lake. These dives are usually scheduled on a weekend. If you take a scuba class during the winter months, training dives can either be postponed till spring or may be completed while on vacation in warmer climates.
Class Includes: Instructor fees for class, pool and open water training, pool fees, all scuba equipment for pool sessions and registration fees to NAUI for certification card.
Not Included: NAUI Scuba Diver Kit, optional rental scuba gear for open water training and snorkeling equipment.
Online Class: $259

What makes us different?
#1 We've been in business for over 30 years! That's more than all other training facilities in the area combined. We offer classes to the general public plus teach accredited courses to most of the colleges and universities in the area.
#2 We have the largest, most experienced teaching staff. In fact we are the largest training facility for NAUI in the Midwest.
#3 We bring all scuba equipment to the pool. We don't expect you to leave work early to pick up the equipment prior to each pool session then return it the following day.
#4 Our classrooms sessions are taught by educators not technicians. Our Group classroom format is done with lectures presented by the instructor using PowerPoint . We do not plug in a VHS tape and have you watch TV to learn how to dive. From our experience, the group classroom experience offers open discussion, which makes for an enjoyable learning experience. Even though this is our preferred form of instruction, we realize that some people have tight schedules. For those short on time or who cannot make our group classes, we do offer home-study programs.
