Welcome to Roatan, the largest of the Bay Islands in Honduras. Discover an island with an authentic Caribbean and Latin American lifestyle and warm, friendly islanders. On the western tip of this tropical paradise is Mayan Princess Beach & Dive Resort, considered by many to have the most beautiful beach in the Caribbean.

Our trip is designed for ultra convenience and comfort. Accommodations are condo units so relax in our own living space and bring the family; it is after all Spring Break. Each day, enjoy snorkeling and diving on the second largest coral system in the world. Between dives, relax by the resort’s signature pool with waterfalls or pamper yourself at Kukut Spa, meaning "body" in ancient Mayan. In the evening, enjoy breathtaking sunsets from your patio or your private balcony.

As Easy as Diving in an Aquarium:
Diving doesn’t get any easier than here in Roatan. It is the perfect destination for new and inexperienced divers. The coral is healthy and the marine life diverse. While exploring shipwrecks, sheer walls and coral gardens you may have close encounters with turtles snacking on sponges, watch eagle rays glide by or swim through schools of reef fish. Snorkelers will find healthy, shallow reefs close to shore with a spectacular array of marine life. You are diving on the Mesoamerican reef, the largest coral system in the Western Hemisphere and the second largest in the world.

Mayan Princess Beach & Dive Resort is located on West Bay Beach which is part of the Sandy Bay-West End Marine Reserve. This reserve has 60 dive moorings maintained by the Roatan Marine Park and is located along the northwest coast of Roatan. Water temperatures should range from 80 & 82 F in April with visibility consistent between 60-100 feet. The West Bay location is ideal for diving because you have access to the North, West and South side dive sites allowing us the opportunity to avoid rough seas if one area has high winds. Our package includes plenty of dive opportunities, 15 boat dives and one night boat dive. Each boat takes 10-15 divers max with one divemaster for every 6 people. You will receive customized service.

Relaxation and Exploration:
Roatan is a beautiful island and worthy of exploration so don’t get to comfortable just hanging around the resort, for it too is beautiful. The grounds are designed like a tropical paradise. Two individual pools are connected by a waterfall with a secluded Jacuzzi area that’s perfect for relaxing. The beach is steps away from the pool and resort guests have reserved beach chairs and umbrellas. Activities such as kayaking, pedal boats, parasailing and water taxi service to West End are available from vendors on the beach.

Eat, Drink and Be Merry: A condo unit with kitchen is overkill for this trip because all meals and drinks are included. The local chef, Juan Carlos, takes pride in his creative cuisine and daily specials which feature local flavors. Daily breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets are included in the package or you can order off the ala carte menu for an additional charge. Watch spectacular sunsets while dining in a private beach cabana or sipping an island cocktail on the patio. Guests have access to nightly entertainment at a nearby resort that includes fire-dancing and an authentic Garifuna performance or visit nearby West End village with its variety of shopping, restaurants and bars.
