What Makes Sub-Aquatic Sports & Service Different?
#1 We've been in business for 27 years! That's more than all other training facilities in the area combined. We offer classes to the general public plus teach accredited courses to most of the colleges and universities in the area.
#2 We have the largest, most experienced teaching staff. In fact we are the largest training facility for NAUI in the Midwest.
#3 We bring all scuba equipment to the pool. We don't expect you to leave work early to pick up the equipment prior to each pool session then return it the following day.
#4 Our classrooms sessions are taught by educators not technicians. Our Group classroom format is done with lectures presented by the instructor using PowerPoint . We do not plug in a VHS tape and have you watch TV to learn how to dive. From our experience, the group classroom experience offers open discussion, which makes for an enjoyable learning experience. Even though this is our preferred form of instruction, we realize that some people have tight schedules. For those short on time or who cannot make our group classes, we do offer home-study programs.
