NTEC: This is not a certification, it's a seminar which allows the diver who wishes to become a certified tec diver to learn and practice the configuration, use, skills needed to become a tec diver. This is taught as part of the decopression techniques / Helitrox diver class but can be taken as a stand alone to spread out the learning curve for those who wish to spread out the learning proccess.

Decompression Techniques / Helitrox Diver This class involves two certifications as the name above implies. The course will teach you the knowledge, and skills needed to safely decompression dive with a light helium based mixture to depth of up to 150' with required decompression. Prerequisites are: Minimu age 18- NAUI Master Diver Certification or equivalent - Minimum logged dives = 75 Nitrrox certification with minimum of 10 dives - NAUI Deep diver Certification or equivalent.
Course requirements: 12 hours of course work going over all aspects of physics, physiology, gear configuration/ Gas consumption / requirements and calculations. Emergency procedures, Decompression dive planning, and much more!
Open water training: 14 open water training dives will be performed leading up to the last four dives being helitox decompression dives. Dive locations vary dependent on the time of year. This is best done on a week long training trip where you can get away from everything else and concentrate on just diving!
Cost: $300.00 Classroom $300 Open water training (+ Gas fills and dive charters etc.) (Recieve a $100.00 discount if you pay for both at start of class.)
