Jim Wells
 Jim started diving in 1985. Iin 2003, when his son Benjamin turned 12, he decided to re-certify while his son was doing his inital certification. Six months after that Jim took the NAUI advanced course, followed in 2004 by the NAUI ice diving course. Jim also completed the dive Rescue Intertantional course, with additional training with the Kalamazoo Couunty Water Safety and Recovery Dive Team.
Jims wife and son Jonathan, took the basic dive class in the spring of 2006 and in late summer took there advanced open water training as Jim finished up his Master Diver Training in Gilboa. In October Jim finished the NAUI assistant instructor, and instructor course. Jim's got a real diving family now with trips down to Belize, Cozumel, and Lake Huron in their log books.
Jim is one our most active instructors, teaching classes for SASS at KVCC, K-College, along with teaching our advanced courses.
