Brent Fazekas
 Brent became interested in diving watching James Bond Movies. While in living in Florida Brent tried a Discover Scuba Class. That was it, he was in love! This was followed quickly by a certification class in 1997.
In 1999 he completed his advanced open water training. Then completed Rescue and Dive Master training in 2003. Now Brent had a dream of becoming a diving instructor. In 2004 Brent moved back into Michigan and was introduced to SASS. Brent switched agencies, took the NAUI master diver course, in order to follow his dream of becoming a diving instructor.
" As I would help with classes I always enjoyed watching peoples eyes sparkle as their passion for diving was ignited."
Picking a certification agency Brent took very seriously. " It was not a decision I wat goint to take lightly." Said Brent, "Throughout my years of training, I realized the impact of quality leadership and how it impacts the diving community. Seeing the standards set by SASS and NAUI, I realized I would be trained by the best". (We didn't pay him to say that!)
Brent has become a great instructor doing the majority of the rescue and first aid programs. Brent lives down near Ft Wayne, Teaches classes in Angola, and comes up to SASS to teach the advance and rescue courses.
