Florida - Winter Excursion - West Palm Beach

For years, SASS has sponsored trips to Palm Beach Florida. We’ve always touted it for having great marine life and an impressive collection of shipwrecks.
West Palm Beach is situated on Florida's Gold Coast. It offers white sandy beaches and excellent diving. The Gulf Stream runs close to shore and attracts an array of creatures. These nutrient rich waters feed dolphin, rays, eels and turtles.
For one week, you’ll explore the reefs and shipwrecks in the area. If you want to complete open water training dives in warmer waters than Gull Lake, than consider this inexpensive option. But, any skill level of diver will find this trip enjoyable. Reefs start at 30 feet which is perfect for new students and we’ll progress to deeper dives throughout the week. Shipwrecks are dispersed among the reefs. A site called "The Triangle" consists of three wrecks sitting side-by-side on a bed of reef.
Diving is done off a custom design dive vessel. There is a fresh water shower for rinsing off after the dives, a bathroom, cooler for beverages, and rinse tanks for dive cameras. Choose between 80 cu. ft. and 63 cu. ft. tanks, plus Nitrox is available with advance notice.
In the evenings, enjoy the nightlife of Palm Beach. Our favorite areas are City Center and Clematis Street for great restaurants and nightlife. Dog races, endless shopping, golf, Jai-La and comedy clubs are close by. You name it and it can probably be found in WPB.

five nights hotel accommodations (Sunday-Friday), five days of charter boat dives (Monday-Friday), tank and weight belt rentals, hotel breakfast daily, 11 1/2% hotel taxes, 6% dive tax, and SASS t-shirt and SASS instructor.
Payment:
A $150 non-refundable deposit is required to guarantee space on this trip. Final payment is due 15 days prior to departure. SASS will attempt to find you a roommate if you wish but this cannot be guaranteed.
